Grill Delicious Ribs the RibLift™ Way

Look up how to cook ribs, and you’ll end up with a ton of options and overcomplicated recipes. The truth is, no matter what you put on the meat, the right time and temperature are what’s going to bring out the best flavors. So keep it simple. If you’re looking for an easy way to bring out the best in your ribs, follow our recommended rub recipe and grilling steps.

Kansas City-Style Dry Rub Recipe

  • ½ Cup brown sugar
  • ¼ Cup paprika
  • 1 Tbsp black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp onion powder
  • 1 Tsp cayenne pepper

How to Prepare and Grill Ribs

Step One

Heat the grill to 235°F to 245°F.

Step Two

Remove the membrane from the underside of the ribs.

Step Three

Apply the Kansas City-Style dry rub or other rub of your choice on the ribs, covering both sides.

Step Four

Place the ribs on the grill, bone-side down, for one hour; ensure the temperature stays between 235°F and 245°F.

Step Five

Using your RibLift™, remove the ribs from the grill and wrap them in heavy-duty aluminum foil.

Step Six

Place the wrapped ribs back on the grill, bone-side down, for two hours at the same 235°F - 245°F temperature.

Step Seven

Remove the foil and place the ribs back onto the grill, bone-side down.

Step Eight

Apply your desired glaze or basting sauce and cook for an additional 30 to 45 minutes at the same 235°F to 245°F temperature.

Step Nine

Using your RibLift™, transfer the finished ribs from the grill to your serving dish.

Step Ten
